Student Brendan Sanders enrolled in a number of my tourism subjects, and told me he was passionate about finding a job in destination marketing. I organised for him to gain work experience through two organisations - Ballarat Regional Tourism, and Geelong Otway Tourism. This led to a job offer from Geelong Otway Tourism, where he is still employed as a Destination Officer: http://www.tourismgeelongbellarine.com.au/about-us/the-team/
Student Tarah Westblade was enrolled in numerous of my tourism courses. I organised an internship for her at Geelong Otway Tourism. The experience she gained through that placement helped her to be successfully employed at Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park.
More recently, Tarah worked overseas at London Dungeons and the National Museum of Scotland and she continues to grow from strength to strength.
